I'm often seen as a go-to therapist for men, someone who offers a down-to-earth, straight-talking approach to counselling. I understand that for many men, opening up can feel uncomfortable, unfamiliar, or even pointless. Here, you don't need to pretend, perform, or have the "right" words, you can just be real.
A lot of the men and women I work with come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, often dealing with anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship problems, or the impact of trauma. Some are also navigating the challenges of being neurodivergent, whether that's ADHD, autism, or feeling like they've never quite fit in.
My understanding of these struggles isn't just professional, it's personal too. My own experiences, alongside challenges within my family, particularly around neurodivergence, addiction, anxiety, and depression, have shaped the way I work. These aren't just areas I've trained in; they're areas I genuinely understand. In many ways, this work chose me.
Over time, I've naturally attracted a large number of male clients facing these challenges. Many are dealing with addiction, emotional pressure, or the weight of trying to cope in silence. Others are coming to terms with being neurodivergent, sometimes later in life, and are trying to make sense of their experiences and identity.
In our work together, I focus on creating a space that feels honest, grounded, and free from judgement. You don't need to have everything figured out before you start. We can take things at your pace, working through what's going on in a way that actually makes sense to you.
I support clients with addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, and neurodivergence, helping them better understand themselves, manage what they're facing, and find a way forward that feels more manageable and authentic.
I am a qualified counsellor, a registered member of the BACP, and a qualified Clinical Supervisor. I'm committed to offering a professional and supportive space where you can speak openly and start to make sense of things in your own way.
